Thank you Paddlers For Life Windermere for a great Wear it Pink Paddle together last Sunday we certainly did raise Awareness of Breast Cancer Survivorship ( even if people did initially think that we were a hen party)
Here's to all of you for the smiles, laughter, friendships and paddling experiences of 2016.
Thanks also to our fantastic helms and our Trustees for all you have done for us this season.

I was invited along with two nurse colleagues to paddle 12 miles down Lancaster canal on 10th July. Wow what an experience and what a truly committed, friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming bunch of people. The effort to arrange all this was phenomenal and I am so grateful for the opportunity (two days later I am not sure my screaming muscles are!). The reason for paddling was never forgotten and the joy in participating and remembering friends was humbling to see. Thanks to all for a fantastic day big grin

Hi all

I was so impressed by the passion and enthusiasm that simply oozed from the team working their socks off (some just drinking coffee and nicking biscuits!) at the Gaskell Hall in Silverdale yesterday, that my wife and I simply have to get involved. Where do we sign up?

Excellent work and amazing people!

Liam and Jean

Hola, Paddlers for Life, felicitaciones por su mágnifico trabajo.

Pablo Ortiz

Hello, Paddlers for Life , congratulations on your excellent work . My name is Paul and I am kinesiologo (Physiotherapist?) in Buenos Aires.

Regarding his activity I'm wondering : what effect does the paddling about lymphedema ? Just Rowing unaffected side ?

I wonder how they manage training and prevent lymphedema in an activity that looks pretty intense !

I congratulate you again for your great work and really are an inspiration to thousands of women who are in the same condition.

Warm regards from Buenos Aires ,
Pablo Ortiz

Hi, Well, I didn't make it to Sarasota, as the Dragon raised his head for the third time. I did receive a set of postcards, via one of my 'Breast Buddies', & they are lovely. What a great idea. Paddles Up. Valerie Barcroft.

Looking forward to meeting you in Sarasota. We are also staying at Fun'n Sun. So hopefully, our teams will have time to connect.

I would like to thank Nick for the lovely montage which was previously our New Year Message and is now under the Meet the Members link on the home page.
Could we please have this life affirming montage centre piece on the home page and put the older pics on the timeline. I feel it would encourage new folk to come and join us - who could fail to be inspired by all the smiling faces!
Thanks Nick for all your work on the web-site - as always it looks fabulous, and is so informative. THANKS smile
