Mags drums as crews prepare for the regatta with a sustained paddle touring Windermere north to Wateredge, Wray Castle and back to Low Wood.
Another warm and sunny September day with two boats out on the water. Peter helmed a boat with some training routines for visitors from The Rosemere Cancer Foundation who were preparing for the regatta next week. Helen helmed Artemis Phyllis while Mags on the drum did an excellent coaching session allowing Paddlers for Life Windermere to train for the regatta. In the afternoon Chris helmed while Rowena on the drum also coached the team in some stamina exercises as we explored the northern end of Windermere accompanied by the support boat before crossing back from Wray Castle to Low Wood.
They were two excellent training sessions.
