Paddlers for Life cancer survivor members and supporters attracted a lot of attention from other participants, spectators, event staff and photographers this year with our pink and purple fancy dress, paddles and dragon hats.

The weather was very kind to us and it was really encouraging to get the shouts and support from Pam, Louisa, Eunice, Irene, Maureen, Helen, Lynn, John and Judy along with Nicola’s family. Steve gave great support with a drink and snack stop after the half way mark and Sian was very creative and busy with her filming and photography.
We made it to the half way stage.

After the last climb. Ten kilometres and 30 obstacles almost over.
