The warmth of the Mediterranean seems a long way from the weather in NW UK today but you have been bold in your activity. Yet the warmth of this ocean water is a good opportunity to stop and reflect. ... See MoreSee Less

Your enthusiasm seems unbounded! It is wonderful to see everyone is still committed to the extended target and we have mileage donations from some new supporters. It seems that we are encouraging activity. Our progress on the first day of the outward leg back towards Hawaii has been rapid and we are now off the coast of North Portugal near Porto. We also have donations coming in and have reached £3,170. ... See MoreSee Less
Fantastic....I’m certainly more motivated now the weather is on the turn! X

We averaged 880 km per day in the first leg of our Hawaiian Challenge. If we replicated that it would be enough to get us just off the northern coast of Australia heading towards Papua New Guinea in our remaining 22 days. Our 550 km today as taken us into the Celtic Sea again just off Land's End. To circumnavigate the world in the time available we need to increase our activity levels and get more people on the team! ... See MoreSee Less

So we've had a shower, put on more sunblocker and moisturiser. We've treated those blisters, eaten cake and added rations. Now we invite you to stay with us for three more weeks to see how far around the world we can get. Our route takes us past Portugal and Spain into the Mediterranean, through the Suez canal into the Indian Ocean. Then via Oceania into the Pacific and back to Hawaii. ... See MoreSee Less

This is an amazing effort from our members and extended family of supporters. You have been enthusiastic and brilliant in your endeavors to contribute miles to our virtual paddle. Thank you also for raising the money to bring our outrigger canoe to Windermere. The total currently stands at £2,978 plus GiftAid. We love you all. ... See MoreSee Less
Such a fantastic effort from friends, members and supporters. Great motivation to go out, even on wet days, and improve fitness by activity. Looking forward to more challenges, on the water in the boat, when we can. Well done all, especially Nick for the Hawaiian challenge. Keep those paddles up and those legs moving. How far will we get?? Sara mentioned circumnavigation of the globe!! How hard can it be??? Sue would be cheering us on!
