In just two days around a hundred members, supporters, family and friends will walk with Guide over Sands Trust across the mudflats and sands of Morecambe Bay. Participants have already donated to this fund raiser and it would be great if anyone could help the fund raising by matching with their own donations or sponsorship.

Another full day for Paddlers for Life Windermere with a visit from a great friend of the team, Keni, from Three River Serpents 3RS in Durham. Keni gave us a great morning of coaching on the paddling stroke and team timing which was invaluable for newer and more experienced members.
Keni then helped in the afternoon as steer for the V6 outrigger. Pool of Life, Breast Cancer Survivors' Dragon Boat Team visited from Liverpool and used one of our dragon boats for a session on our beautiful Windermere. A day of fun and gorgeous weather especially as the wind calmed towards afternoon.
Thanks, as always, to helms, support boat crew, organisers and all the paddlers who made today a great experience.

Thanks for such a wonderful afternoon, a beautiful place to paddle with all you lovely people. I'm looking forward to Pool of Life's next visit. 🥰 xx
Hello Paddlers for Life Windermere, do you have room for one more visitor from Belfast this weekend? 🙂
Words do not express our paddle on Sunday The weather scenery and people were so amazing Thank you and hope to see you soon and in Liverpool 💕💕
Great day on the Lake paddling in dragonboat in the morning and O6 in the afternoon. Keni was an amazing coach and gave some solid tips on technique. Nice to see another breast cancer ♋️ survivor dragonboat team enjoying the lake just for the fun of it . The weather was perfect and the support from everyone involved made it as usual a fabulous experience ❤️
What a fabulous day on the lake, and great to have Keni joining us again. 🐉🌸😁

Paddlers for Life paddled the 10 mile length of Windermere to visit the Fell Foot for All event. Our paddle down on Saturday was mostly in dry and calm conditions. But around mid-day, as we neared Fell Foot, the rain arrived. Even in these wet conditions a few visitors to the event took the opportunity to have a 'try out' paddle with us. A talk from one of our members was very well received.
The team returned to nearby Tower Wood where members shared a lovely meal, staying overnight before returning the next day to our base at Low Wood. About 13 miles covered and then another 7 miles for the return on Sunday.
Huge thanks to everyone, helms, organisers and paddlers with Paddlers for Life Windermere who made this event so successful.❤ ... See MoreSee Less
