Paddlers for Life accompany the Olympic Torch as it is carried on the Tern into Bowness-on-Windermere.

Artemis Diana and Artemis Phyllis were paddled by a mixed crew of Paddlers for Life cancer survivors, supporters and NHS staff from Low Wood to Bowness to meet and accompany the Tern as it carried the Olympic Torch across Windermere. On a misty and atmospheric evening paddlers were in great spirits as we approached the crowds awaiting the torch arrival. Paddlers for Life are awarded the Olympic ‘Inspire’ mark.
