Community Heroes.

Following a General Meeting in the morning Paddlers returned to  Low Wood to find bright sunshine ready for an afternoon paddle.
Just perfect for the two visitors, Sarah and Ed, who came to try Dragon Boat paddling. (And very well they did too!) 
Chris and Roz helmed the crew through some training routines and race starts  as we paddled between Low Wood Bay and Brockhole.

Along the way we tried to spy Sue, Peter, Sandra and Shelley
enjoying champagne hospitality on Low Wood Hotel lawn.

Louisa and Sue (and Shelley) have been nominated and chosen as ‘Community Heroes’
as part of Low Wood Hotel’s celebration of the hotel group’s sixtieth anniversary.
