Paddlers for Life at ‘Low Wood No Wood’.

Low Wood No Wood is a charity fundraiser event.

Teams build boats, largely from cardboard as no wood is allowed. to try and navigate a figure of eight course against another team to try for the fastest time.

There is also a grand finale in which boats try to rescue treasure from an island protected by s sea monster! (Watch the video)

The dragon boat was built, painted and complete and the crew were selected.

The boat was launched and after a hesitant start in windy conditions …
The prize was won!
