Paddling sometimes has to be cancelled.

The season continues with the tendency to be unsettled and blustery.

The decision was made to cancel paddling due to strong winds and the forecast of increasingly strong gusts.

Jo and Keith visited to present a cheque for £410 to Paddlers for Life Windermere from a fundraiser held by their Masonic Lodge. Although paddling was cancelled they hope to return another time to experience the joys of dragon boat paddling.

 

Also visiting were Edith from Australia who some team members met in Sarasota and also her daughter Sally from Tasmania.
