Pauline and Jim visited to name the new dragon boat ‘Mary at Low Wood’ remembering Mary who made the generous donation that allowed Paddlers for Life Windermere to purchase the boat.
Our latest new dragon boat had her first outing.
It was a time for celebration of a family who made such a thoughtful gift.
A ‘Thank you’ cake in the shape of a dragon boat acknowledged the generous bequest that purchased the boat..
Pauline and Jim announced the name of the new boat and ‘dotted the eyes’ of the dragon head to bring paddlers the protection of the dragon.
