Paddlers for Life Windermere at the Westmorland Show

Our trustees have been busy preparing for this show.

They put up the new gazebo the day before and then the stand was dressed to show the team at its best.

There were lots of giveaways and plenty of information about the team with the Tenth Anniversary film showing our activities.

The dragon boat replica created by Chris helped give a sense of where the drum, head and tail fitted onto a dragon boat.

The forecast rain arrived first as a steady drizzle and gained in strength around lunchtime.

Nevertheless, Ruth, Pam, Irene, Jill, Sandra, Emma, Steve and Sandra all did their best approaching members of the public to tell of our team and rewarding children who admired the drum and dragon head.
