Cross Morecambe Bay fund raiser.

What a fantastic experience walking with Guide over Sands Trust today. Ninety seven members, family and friends donated to our team and walked seven miles across the sands and mudflats of Morecambe Bay from Arnside to Grange-over-Sands.

We were led by the King’s Guide to the Sands, Michael Wilson, and safely looked after by his team of drivers and volunteer marshalls.

The weather was kind as we walked southwards towards Hest Bank crossing several channels. The final channel crossing was broad but not too deep and then at the four mile mark we stopped for a food and rest moment before completing the walk.

Team members and friends have already contributed nearly £1000 to our fund raiser to join the walk.
