Yorkshire Building Society donate to Paddlers for Life Windermere.

 

Sylvia and Sandra visited the Yorkshire Building Society to receive a cheque for £100 donated from their charity fund. Customers, staff and colleagues at the Building Society nominated local projects during their ‘Make a Difference’ week and Sylvia nominated Paddlers for Life Windermere. The money is from their ‘Small Change Big Difference’ scheme in which customers make donations and our group was one of many benefitting from the £150,000 fund dispensed by the Charitable Foundation. It will help Paddlers for Life Windermere to continue to support people who have a cancer diagnosis to enjoy dragon boat paddling on Windermere.
