Paddling with the Serpees in Durham.

We had a fantastic day on the River Wear at Durham.  The sun shone, the river was calm, the trees are just changing colour and there were beautiful views of the city landscape.  In the morning we had a technical session, which lasted an hour and a half, so we honed up on our technique with the Serpees, under Keni’s watchful and encouraging eye.

A wonderful lunch of lasagne, salad and chocolate cake set us up for the afternoon.
Serpees and Paddlers were mixed together in the two boats for an afternoon of racing.  It was brilliant!  We came off the river happily tired after a great work out and lots of fun, jokes and laughter.
