Silverdale Coffee Morning Fundraiser
Another fantastic fund raiser.

This was the the tenth Coffee Morning to raise funds at the Gaskell Hall Silverdale to raise funds for Paddlers for Life Windermere.
Previous coffee mornings had raised close to £10000 over the years and this year’s event continued the trend raising a brilliant £1475.27p.
Mags organised the event and we had great help from the people of Silverdale who helped on the day with refreshments and stalls and others attended the event supporting us.
Mags says…
” We took £1615:27p, and once we paid for the hall (£140) we made the grand total of £1475:27 which is just great! (£30 of the £140 was for the 2hr lunchtime period).
A brilliant team effort and a real credit to P.F.L. Thanks to everyone who supported the event, Maureen and Lorna for organising our food, and to all who helped with lunch, washed up and cleared away.
Thanks too to June, Nick, Brenda and Barbara for staying behind and counting the cash and to Pam for her efficient management of the money. We are fortunate to have such a great team and such good support for our charity.”

Lovely pictures Nick can you believe January was the last time most of us were together at this fantastic yearly event for PFL and for Silverdale villagers who always support us so well .Thank the Mags ……
We will get together again after Covid-19 but in the meantime look at all the the wonderful memories we have made together the friendship, the paddles ,the smiles all full of hope and love.
