Some members of Paddlers for Life took the opportunity to promote the charity by having an information stall at the event.

The plan was for a 'Pink Paddle' to promote awareness of Paddlers for Life dragon boat team and its mission to support those with a breast cancer or other cancer diagnosis.

A rather soggy paddle, but we had the lake to ourselves and we enjoyed a paddle across the lake to Wray Castle and then south along the eastern shore of the lake before crossing back. Lots of smiles and pyramids to keep us focused! Simon came prepared with his umbrella and flask !
