End of paddling season 2021

Putting the dragons to their winter sleep.

A working party of members assembled at Low Wood water sports centre.

First there were some end of season tasks.

Dismantling. cleaning and stowing the pontoon

They also de-rigged the OC6 outrigger and  turned the boat upside down to protect from winter rains.

•

Finally our beautiful dragon heads had their eyes closed for the winter and will be awakened in 2022 for our paddling season start in April.

Although our paddling is finished for 2021 there will be various off season activities for members which may include fitness classes, winter walks and online social activities such as book club, quizzes and other social meetings.
