Great views on Scout Scar for Paddlers for Life walkers.

Eighteen paddlers enjoyed spectacular views on Scout Scar near Kendal.

The weather was kind to us providing wonderful views of Morecambe Bay and the Lake District Fells to the west with views overlooking the Lyth Valley.

After snacks at Helsington Church to view the World War One commemorative mural we returned to complete our five and a half mile walk with the sun picking out a panorama of Lakeland Peaks, as always in great company.

The next planned walk is Sunday 26th. February at Ambleside walking to Rydal Water and back along the ‘Coffin Walk’ but watch out for some ‘pop-up’ walks at shorter notice before then.
