Silverdale Coffee Morning fundraiser for Paddlers for Life Windermere.

A huge ‘Thank You’ to everyone who visited our Coffee Morning fund raiser in the Gaskell Memorial Hall in Silverdale.

As always, the residents of Silverdale were very generous with their time and support. Many friends of Paddlers for Life in Silverdale helped with stalls and refreshments and the community came out in force to visit us to buy, play games and share refreshments.

Our team members also worked hard to make sure the coffee morning was welcoming and interesting.

The event raised the fantastic sum of £1915.17p though there are a few costs to come out of this such as hire of the hall.

This is a brilliant result much appreciated by all of our members who send a huge hug to our friends in Silverdale.

After the event paddlers enjoyed a lovely ‘Jacob’s Join’ lunch and enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with friends from across the years of paddling dragon boats on Windermere.
