A great coaching session.

Keni visited from Three River Serpents (Serpees) in Durham to give us paddling tips as we get ready for the Bradford Dragon Boat Festival

It’s always good for experienced paddlers to be reminded of technique and helpful for newer paddlers to start to understand how to make the stroke efficient and effective. If you paddle with good technique you will feel the benefits.

Our V6 outrigger was out with Chris as steer in the morning. More paddlers paddled the V6 with Keni in the afternoon.

Thanks so much Keni. Your support and coaching skills are very important to us.

Thank you for having me (and Pippa) Paddlers for Life. I threw the kitchen sink at you yesterday but the progress was impressive in both the dragon boat and the V6. Very well done. See you again soon xx

Wow how lovely to see the pics of the coaching session Nick. Looks like you certainly put paddlers through their paces Keni and it was great to see paddle technique improving but what made my heart soar was seeing the lovely Pippa on the water. Fantastic and she certainly looked “down and ready” for attention. I bet her stroke is a chip off yours Keni remembering the fun and happy times we had together big hugs Keni. xxx

Your coaching is much appreciated Keni. It’s easy to see the concentration (and effort) in our paddlers’ faces. Lovely to have both of you here on Windermere with team Paddlers for Life. We all had a wonderful day.
