On a beautiful day, a special Flower Ceremony.

Family and friends of Sue, a founder member of the team, came to join current and past members of Paddlers for Life and other visitors who gathered to remember a much loved and inspirational member of the team.

We are used to flower ceremonies when we remember the lives of those much loved people who can no longer paddle with us. This ceremony was especially poignant as Sue touched the lives of so many people through the development of this team. Having her family and friends with us helped us share so many special memories.
