Low Wood No Wood 2016
A small crew of determined builders led by Eunice constructed the wonderful boat that was tested at the 2016 'Low Wood No Wood' cardboard boat regatta. In fine weather the boat was paddled to a good time in the figure of eight time trial.

Following the excitement and fun of last year there will be another entry for this competition where teams enter a cardboard boat to be crewed to paddle a simple course!
First a boat must be designed and built.

Preparations for season nine.
Following the 'Down and Ready' day paddlers rebuilt the floating pontoon and readied the boats. It was an opportunity for newer paddlers to learn how to handle the boats alongside more experienced team members as well as 'dressing' the boats with drum, seat and steering paddle.
