Music and Cake by the Lake.

Peter helmed Artemis Phyllis on another tour of the north of WIndermere accompanied by Simon and Steve in the support boat. The first ‘Port of Call’ was Brathay House who were hosting a Music and Cake by the Lake fundraiser for the Brathay Trust. Mooring the dragon boat at the trust’s boathouse the crew walked across the grounds to Brathay House were refreshments were purchased (in aid of the Brathay Trust) and consumed in the marquee whilst serenaded by well known Disney songs

Returning to the boat we headed southwards back past Low Wood, Brockholes and onward to White Cross Bay before returning to Low Wood. Along the way we paddled to Hawaiian, French and German paddling instructions.
