Two crews were taken through their paces training for a visit of some paddlers to an International Festival in Florence. As always Keni gave excellent advice to develop paddling technique and motivated paddlers to achieve their best. Some hard paddling training but a lot of fun.

We had a great paddle today with Artemis Phyllis helmed by Roz in the morning and Helen in the afternoon.

We had a wonderful workshop this afternoon from Shelley and Neecol Barlow to learn to make garlands for Florence for the Team Pink Procession. New skills were learned and Shelley and Nico as usual were fantastic leads as PfL members had never made anything like this before...

Helen was our helm. It was a lovely evening with some sunshine but a light breeze we were on the water for 6.30 pm.
Mags took us through the 8 week training plan Keni designed for us to aid strength, stamina and timing.

Pool of Life Regatta in Liverpool.
We dressed Aloha Aloha in memory of Sue and this was just before our last race.
Our first race was dedicated to Sue it was a 350 mtr and our timings went as follows race 1, 2.16, race 2, 2.12 , Race 3, 2.08 and final race timings were smashed with 1.59.
